Writing the Tether Trilogy was an unexpected project that consumed me for months but that I don't regret a single bit. It started with Vicious Bonds and expanded into so much more. It challenged me in many ways and boosted my confidence in both writing and the flexibility of my creativity.

Being able to create a diverse world with such unique characters was rewarding on so many levels. Bringing Caz and Willow to life and watching their love bloom (see what I did there?) with every book was beautiful. I knew going into writing the trilogy that I was going to have to create something special for it and I'm happy to share that after almost a year and a half of planning, I’m finally able to bring it to life!

What to know about the special editions:

All three books of the Tether Trilogy have a special edition hardcover with custom foil overlays on the front, back, and spine. Each book has its own color-coded foil to match the themes of each novel (Red, Blue, Gold.) They’ll also have sprayed edges matching the foils and gorgeous printed designs. The interior files have been formatted with beautiful chapter headers, backdrop images, marble effects, and come with a custom map.

An exclusive stack of silk character trading cards featuring the Blackwater Clan (Caz + Cerberus, Willow + Silvera, Maeve, Juniper, Killian, and Rowan).

An exclusive character art print inspired by Chapter 63 from Wicked Ties with a matte finish.

Custom stickers to match the Vakeeli theme/characters

A 4 oz custom scented candle inspired by Caz + Blackwater (think Caz's blooms, ocean air, and a nice manly scent).

Bonus: another matte character art print will also be included featuring Caz & Willow as Imperials along with two of their little friends in a family portrait… but that’s a surprise piece that you’ll see when the box arrives.

Note: this preorder campaign will run for a limited time from July 24th to September 1st. You can expect your books/boxes to ship no later than November. These special editions can only be ordered on the Shanora Williams website.

Once the preorder campaign ends, the special editions will only be available as signing exclusives for 2025/2026.
