A note from Shanora about event invites:

Please keep in mind that I have three young kids and, despite being a full time author, family life takes up about 70% of my schedule. The other 30% is used to meet writing deadlines. Because of this, I do limit when and where I travel.

My cap for big bookish festivals and conventions are two to three a year. I cannot commit to any event that’s two or more years out, as it just doesn’t make sense for me to do.

February - April 2026 are completely booked due to Mayhem and the Mortal promo and the book tour. If an event falls between October - December, I most likely will not be able to attend due to two of my son’s birthdays taking place, my wedding anniversary, and preparing for the holidays.

Please consider all of these factors before sending an invite and be sure to check my event page to make sure your dates don’t coincide with another. If I could attend them all, I absolutely would but for my family’s sake (and my mental health) I have to be very selective.
