A note from Shanora about event invites:

Please keep in mind that I have three young kids and, despite being a full time author, family life takes up about 70% of my schedule. The other 30% is used to meet writing deadlines (which I have so many of). I also battle with high functioning anxiety. Because of these things, I do have to limit when and where I travel, and how I utilize my spare time.

My cap for big bookish festivals and conventions are two to three a year. I cannot commit to any event that’s two or more years out, as it just doesn’t make sense for me to do.

February - April 2026 are completely booked due to press for Mayhem and the Mortal and the book tour. During late October to December, I keep myself closed to events completely.

I hope you consider all these factors before sending an invite, and be sure to check my event page to make sure your dates don’t coincide with another. For my family’s sake (and my mental health) I have to be very selective with how I spend any free time.
